Stay-at-Home Mom

This month I also decided to not return to my job as a pharmaceutical representative. My company offered extended leave up to 3 years and I decided to take them up on it. Its a really great opportunity to be there for my son and also keep my connections to the business world. I'll miss a lot about my job, but there's something a job that allows you to show up in your pj's with no makeup on and where the one person you work with all day greets you with a smile from his crib and is happy that you came despite your appearance.

Grandma Visits

Grandmas came and visited the family this month. So the little guy got lots of doting. Its amazing how a grandchild will make people not flinch when it comes to traveling hundreds of miles.

The Third Month

In Hayden's third month, he discovered some of his new hobbies, like reading the latest Field & Stream with Daddy, bathtime, and tummy time. We can't believe the first three months have gone by so quickly (though we might have argued that in the first 6 weeks.) However, it has been fun to see him change and learn so much in such a short amount of time.

The Second Month

This was at the start of his second month of life when his aunts Michelle and Rachael came to visit us and meet Hayden for the first time. Hayden already has a lot of ladies that love him. And who wouldn't-look at this little guy. (picture to the right taken at the end of his second month.)

The First Few Weeks at Home

The first few weeks at home were sleep deprived as any parent will attest. It took not only Mom and Dad getting used to they newest member of the family but also Sadie who was and still is trying to figure this little guy out. She can't believe how something so little can be so loud...especially at 2am.

Hayden Arrives

Hayden arrived on January 1st, 2009 at 7:25pm. He was 7lbs 6oz and 19 1/2 inches long. He was a healthy little boy with ten fingers, ten toes, and a healthy set of lungs!
